VIDEO: Burna Boy fulfills ₦45 million promise to Cubana Chief Priest’s brother amid ongoing feud

Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has fulfilled his promise to gift ₦45 million to Trita, the brother of socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
This comes on the heels of a fiery online exchange between the musician and the celebrity businessman, which had captured public attention in recent weeks.
The confirmation of the fulfilled pledge came through Lucky Udu, who shared an emotional video on Instagram detailing the moment Trita met with Burna Boy to express his gratitude. The clip showed Trita kneeling before Burna Boy, visibly moved by the gesture.
“Oh my goodness, Burna Boy just fulfilled his promise. My head want blow!” Lucky exclaimed in excitement as he documented the heartfelt interaction.
Trita, addressing Burna Boy, prayed for wisdom and guidance to avoid future controversies. He stated, “Talk to me… That would make me happy. You can’t prove everything like that. So I wish you all the best, and I hope God will give you wisdom, you understand? So that you know about the disaster situation again.”
Lucky Udu also praised Burna Boy’s integrity, noting, “I pay my respects to Burna Boy. Thank you. In fact, I’m shocked you kept your promise. You’ve answered somebody’s prayer, and that means everything. To everyone watching this, know that God answers prayers and sends people to help you. Go to Burna Boy’s comment section and thank him.”
He further revealed plans to invite Trita to Abuja for an interview to share his experience and captioned his post: “Wow! God bless you @burnaboygram for fulfilling your promise to @iamtreater. I can’t believe this! It gives me great joy to see people’s lives change. Pls, you all should help me thank Burna Boy.”

The generous act has won Burna Boy widespread admiration from fans and observers, reinforcing his reputation as a man who stands by his word.
The feud between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest initially erupted when the singer referred to the socialite as “Owerri Rick Ross” in a cryptic Instagram post. Chief Priest fired back, recalling how he paid Burna Boy ₦1 million to perform as a backup artist at his 2018 birthday party, implying Burna Boy’s current fame is a recent development compared to his own long-established wealth.
Chief Priest also took a jab at Burna Boy’s Grammy success, insinuating that music mogul Diddy played a significant role in his win. The drama continues to divide fans online, but Burna Boy’s unexpected generosity has softened the narrative, showing a different side of the star amid the heated exchanges.
