VIDEO: Drama as ‘Daddy G.O’ walks off pulpit over phone distraction

Renowned Nigerian evangelist, Apostle Arome Osayi, made headlines recently when he walked off the pulpit during a church service, expressing frustration over repeated phone disruptions.

Apostle Arome, who is the General Overseer of the Remnant Christian Network, was invited as a guest minister at the event. While delivering his sermon, a phone rang in the congregation, causing a noticeable distraction. Addressing the interruption, the cleric sternly warned against a repeat, explaining that such disturbances hinder his spiritual flow.

“I need your cooperation,” he urged, emphasizing the importance of maintaining an atmosphere conducive to worship and ministration.

However, just as he was concluding his admonition, another phone rang. This second interruption seemed to push him to his limit, prompting him to leave the pulpit abruptly and return to his seat.
