VIDEO: LASMA official allegedly causes accident after struggling steering with driver

A chaotic scene unfolded at Ladipo bus stop in Lagos on Monday after a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASMA) official allegedly dragged the steering wheel of a commercial driver, leading to a severe accident.

The incident, which caused a significant stir among onlookers, reportedly left the driver unconscious at the scene.

Eyewitnesses who posted the video claim that the altercation began when the LASMA officer attempted to stop the driver for an alleged traffic violation. A struggle for control ensued, causing the vehicle to crash into another car before coming to a halt. Dramatic footage from the scene shows concerned bystanders lifting the unconscious driver from his vehicle, while the visibly upset owner of the second car demanded compensation for his damaged vehicle.
