VIDEO: Travelers hail Peter Obi after clearing traffic gridlock in Kogi


Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, once again demonstrated his hands-on leadership style when he stepped out of his vehicle to clear a traffic jam in Kogi State, earning him praises from travelers and passersby.
The former Anambra State governor, who was on his way to an event, encountered a severe traffic gridlock along a busy road in the state.
According to eyewitnesses, the traffic was at a standstill for several hours, frustrating commuters and motorists.
However, the situation took a positive turn when Obi, renowned for his calm demeanor and problem-solving approach, got out of his convoy and began directing traffic. Videos circulating on social media showed the former presidential candidate in the thick of the situation, personally coordinating the flow of vehicles, much to the admiration of those present.
In the video clips, enthusiastic onlookers could be heard chanting “Our President!” as Obi worked to ease the traffic. Many praised him for his humility and willingness to help in such an unexpected situation, describing his actions as a reflection of the leadership qualities Nigeria desperately needs.
