VIDEO: Watch as mother of abused 3-year-old boy speaks

The mother of a 3-year-old boy, who was physically abused by a teacher identified as Mrs. Stella Nwadigo, has broken her silence, revealing a troubling pattern of maltreatment endured by her son under the teacher’s care.
The incident, which occurred at a private school in Ikorodu, Lagos, where the mother also works, sparked public outrage after a video showing the teacher assaulting the boy went viral.
In an emotional interview conducted in Yoruba, the distraught mother expressed her heartbreak over the repeated abuse her child has suffered.
“I work in the same school where this teacher beat my son,” she said. “This is not the first time she has done this. I reported the matter to the school management, but nothing was done. I am all alone—his father is no longer alive. I do menial jobs to survive. I want justice for my son, and I need help from Nigerians to support his education.”

Social media users and advocacy groups are calling for swift action against the teacher and the school’s management for their alleged inaction.
