We are confident of defeating APC in 2027 – PDP
Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have expressed confidence that the party will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in 2027.
The Governors believe they’ll reclaim power at the federal level, and restore the prosperity Nigerians enjoyed before 2015.
In a seven-point resolution issued after their closed-door meeting in Asaba, the Delta State capital, the governors urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the country’s current economic and security challenges.
The forum, chaired by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, assured party members that efforts were being intensified to resolve its internal crises.
The governors also called on President Bola Tinubu to urgently review his administration’s macroeconomic policies to alleviate the prevailing hardships.
“The forum commended PDP governors for implementing measures to ease the suffering of their people while laying the foundation for sustainable development in their respective states.
Addressing the party’s leadership disputes, the governors praised the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) for its efforts in resolving internal conflicts, particularly regarding the position of the party’s national secretary.
