Xabi Alonso will do well in Real Madrid – Huijsen

Real Madrid new signing Dean Huijsen, has expressed his delight at making his debut with Real Madrid. Likewise, the centre-back assessed what Xabi Alonso can bring as coach, predicting that Los Blancos will have “good years” under his leadership.

Dean Huijsen, defender for Real Madrid, assured this Saturday that the dressing room is “very happy” to have Xabi Alonso in the dugout, with whom he believes they are going to have “good years”, he underlined on the eve of the second FIFA Club World Cup match against Pachuca in Charlotte.

“There is a very good group here and the truth is that the dressing room is very united. We are very happy to have Xabi Alonso here too. I think he has many good ideas and we are going to have good years together. We are Real Madrid. We have to win and I think we are going to do it,” Huijsen said in an interview published by Real Madrid.

Huijsen, the new signing for Los Blancos, already made his debut with his new team last Wednesday in the 1-1 draw against Al Hilal. “For me it is a dream. I think for every child it is a dream to play for Real Madrid. It is the best club in the world and I am very proud and very happy to be here,” he said.

Real Madrid will face Pachuca this Sunday at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, kicking off at 15:00 local time, 21:00 Spanish time. Xabi Alonso will appear at a press conference this Saturday at 18:30 local time at the stadium, an hour after Jaime Lozano, coach of the Mexican team, does so.
