Justice Maimuna Abubakar of the Niger High Court 6 has ordered the arrest of the Managing Director of Polaris Bank, Omokayode Lawal and the Minna Branch mananger for contempt of Court.

The warrant of arrest against the Managing Director and the Minna branch manager was as a result of their refusal to honour the Court Summon to be present in court.
In her ruling, Justice Maimuna Abubakar ordered Police Officers to effect the arrest of the defendants.
She then adjourned the case to December 13, 2024 for the arraignment of the defendants.
