Catholic priest reacts to pastor Adeboye’s apology on tithing

Reverend Father Ehioma Emmanuel, popularly known as Fada Mentor, has weighed in on the recent viral video of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he issued an apology over his teachings on tithing.
Pastor Adeboye has set the social media abuzz after admitting that his previous stance—that tithing was a requirement for making heaven—was incorrect and not supported by the Bible. In his apology, Adeboye clarified that while tithing remains significant, it is not a prerequisite for salvation.
In response to the apology, Father Ehioma Emmanuel, a Catholic priest known for his insightful commentary on religious issues, took to Facebook to express his thoughts.
Sharing his optimism, he wrote: “Pastor E.A. Adeboye apologizes on his teaching on Tithe. Me: Wow! Finally, we are making progress.”
