Breaking: Another prominent politician’s son announced dead

Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the son of former Kaduna State Governor and former PDP National Chairman, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has tragically passed away following a fatal car accident.
According to a family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, Faisal was involved in a car crash along the Kaduna-Zaria highway on the evening of Saturday. He was rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
“The accident occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria highway. He was taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive. His father was at the hospital, and preparations for his burial have already begun,” the source confirmed.
Faisal, a civil engineer by profession, had an impressive educational background. He attended Kaduna International School for his primary education, Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State for secondary school, and later proceeded to the University of Greenwich, London, where he obtained both his undergraduate and master’s degrees. He was also enrolled in a PhD program at the same institution.
At the time of filing this report, Ahmed Makarfi could not be reached for comment.
This marks the second heartbreaking loss involving the family of a prominent Nigerian figure within the weekend. On Friday, Fatima Kyari, the 23-year-old daughter of Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), passed away in Abuja after a brief illness. She was laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
