VIDEO: Drama as man trekking from Ibadan to Abuja to meet Tinubu begs for help

A young man identified as Mr. Nigeria101, who embarked on a mission to trek from Ibadan to Abuja on December 1, 2024, in a bid to meet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has called for help after becoming stranded on his journey.
Mr. Nigeria101, whose trek symbolizes his loyalty to the president, also intends to deliver a letter he claims embodies the frustrations and aspirations of Nigerian youths. However, despite covering over 600 kilometers, his efforts have largely gone unnoticed by both the government and the public.
Sharing his plight through a series of videos on TikTok, the determined trekker expressed his despair over the lack of recognition and support.
“Nigerians, please come to my aid. I need your support. Have mercy on me. I have been on this trekking mission since December 1st last year from Ibadan to Abuja to meet Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to read out this message to him that Nigerians are suffering,” he said.
“Nobody wants to attend to me; nobody wants to pay attention to me. I have trekked to the extent that my spirit has almost left my body.”

The situation has taken a dramatic turn as he vowed to continue his journey, wandering and protesting until his demands are acknowledged or until death meets him.
His letter to the president reportedly highlights the hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians, particularly the youth, amid the prevailing economic challenges.
As the videos gain traction on social media, netizens have begun reacting to his plight, with some questioning his approach while others express sympathy for his dedication. Whether his mission will garner the attention of President Tinubu remains uncertain.
