The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has debunked the unauthorized statements being issued by Mr. John Mayaki, a former Chief Press Secretary to the immediate-past Governor of the state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
According to Mr. Fred Itua, Chief Press Secretary to incumbent Governor Monday Okpebholo, “these unauthorized statements do not reflect the official position of the Governor’s Office on any matter and should be disregarded.”

“The Governor’s official spokespersons have been duly appointed and announced by Senator Monday Okpebholo. They can be reached through their verified contact information,” Itua noted.
The statement advised members of the public to verify any information attributed to the Governor through official channels only.
