Portable reacts after being declared wanted

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has spoken out for the first time since being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command over his alleged assault on government officials.
The singer and his crew members have been making headlines following accusations that they attacked officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement exercise in Ota. In a recent development, the state police command released an official statement declaring Portable wanted in connection with the incident, warning that anyone found aiding or harboring him would face legal consequences.
Amid the controversy, Portable took to Instagram to break his silence, claiming that he is currently facing spiritual attacks and undergoing medical treatment. Sharing a photo showing visible injuries on his body, he pleaded for forgiveness from the Ogun State government while seeking divine intervention.
In his post, the singer wrote:
“All this evil thing wey dey happen to me na spiritual attack. God save my life. I’m battling a lot of sickness all over my body. I’m taking care of myself, pain in my body. Make Ogun State government forgive me . Na hospital I dey all these days . God, please, because of my children, don’t let my enemies shame me .”
His statement has sparked mixed reactions, with some social media users questioning the sincerity of his plea, while others sympathized with his condition. As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen how the Ogun State government and the police will respond to his public appeal.
