FCT Police Command neutralises notorious kidnapper

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has neutralised notorious kidnapper, Salisu Mohammed, alias “Dogo Saleh”.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit carried out a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation, tracking and intercepting Mohammed at Gidan Abe Forest on March 3, 2025.
The 21-year-old Fulani man from Baban Saural village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was identified as a notorious hitman for bandit leaders operating in Rijana Forest, Kaduna State.
Mohammed’s gang was responsible for several high-profile kidnappings and killings along the Kaduna-Lokoja-Enugu highway and within the FCT.
The Police recovered an AK-49 rifle, ammunition, and N3,000,000 cash proceeds from previous kidnappings.
The FCT Police Command has assured residents that operations are ongoing to track and apprehend the fleeing gang members and dismantle all criminal networks operating within the region.
