What we will do to Natasha—Kogi govt

Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, has stated that security agencies will determine whether Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan should be arrested for allegedly defying Governor Usman Ododo’s ban on processions in the state.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Fanwo emphasized that the governor had issued a directive, and security agencies were expected to enforce it accordingly.
“There was a directive from the state governor, and the security agencies were instructed to execute it,” Fanwo said. “If someone has violated it, the security agencies do not need the governor to issue another directive; they know what to do.”
When asked whether Akpoti-Uduaghan would face arrest, Fanwo responded, “Only the security agencies can answer that. They know how they conduct their operations. I am not a police officer, but I am certain she has a lot of questions to answer regarding her incitements.”
The senator, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had recently defied the state government’s restrictions to attend a homecoming rally in Kogi Central, arriving at the venue in a helicopter despite warnings from law enforcement.
