Air Peace announces resumption of flight operations

Leading Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has officially announced the resumption of all flight operations, effective Friday, April 25, 2025. This development follows the suspension of the industrial action by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) and other labor unions in the aviation sector.
In a public notice signed by the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Air Peace expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience and unwavering support during the challenging period of suspended operations.
“We sincerely thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support throughout this challenging period. Your resilience and trust in our brand mean the world to us,” the statement read.
The airline also extended appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, MON, whose intervention was described as both “active and decisive.” According to Air Peace, his leadership played a pivotal role in resolving the impasse and restoring normalcy within the aviation industry.
Air Peace assured passengers of continued commitment to safety and comfort, adding, “We look forward to welcoming you back onboard as we continue to prioritize your safety and comfort.”
