Student dies while exercising at varsity campus gym
A 100-level computer science student at Veritas University Abuja, Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo, died while exercising in the campus gymnasium.
It was assertained that the deceased was exercising when he started foaming at the mouth and then slumped around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
A source stated that the University called the disease father to inform him about the incident around 11 pm on Tuesday.
Dr. Sanni Bil-hissan who spoke on behalf of the University confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
However, Mr Deji Adeyanju, a human rights lawyer, who is representing the family told SaharaReporters that the parents of the demise student suspect foul play and gross negligence.
He said, “The parents of the deceased student suspect foul play and gross negligence,”.
