Adeyanju calls for strong opposition coalition against Tinubu

Nigerian lawyer and activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, has expressed his readiness to personally and financially support a formidable opposition coalition aimed at challenging President Bola Tinubu—provided it is free from the influence of politicians like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.
In a post shared on his social media page, Adeyanju emphasized the need for a broad-based and inclusive opposition movement, warning that any coalition led by “selfish politicians” who insist on being at the forefront would only fail to achieve meaningful change.
“If the opposition comes up with a strong coalition against Tinubu, devoid of selfish politicians like Atiku and Obi who will insist they must be the ones to lead it, I will support them personally and financially. An opposition inclusive in nature and ready to take power forcefully,” Adeyanju stated.
He cautioned Nigerians against contributing funds to the political machinery of Atiku and Obi, describing them and their associates as “businessmen and women” more interested in fundraising than genuine political change.
“Everything you see the merchants around Atiku and Obi doing will only lead to fundraising. Don’t give them one kobo this time until they agree to a strong coalition ready to forcefully take power from Tinubu. Don’t be a victim to their scam again,” he warned.
