Portable undergoes deliverance

Popular controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has turned to spiritual intervention, undergoing a public cleansing ritual.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker shared videos on Instagram showing himself surrounded by people wearing white garments performing a deliverance ceremony.
The footage captures moments of intense prayer as they pour water over the singer’s head while declaring: “You have overcome your enemies. Evil shall no longer find you. God’s mercy will cover you and protect your family from harm.”
Portable, known for his dramatic expressions, looked to the sky as he responded with animated gestures throughout the ritual.
In March, gospel singer Testimony Jaga claimed he experienced “demonic manifestation” from Portable during their encounter.
Jaga alleged that Portable has been restless since their meeting, claiming that the singer’s reliance on “juju” (traditional charms) is “fake”.
The gospel singer’s assertion came after Portable had assaulted a preacher at his bar in Ogun state, sparking widespread criticism in September.
Jaga joined in the online backlash, giving Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologise to the preacher.
When the ultimatum expired, Jaga and his music team visited Portable’s bar, where a dramatic scene unfolded.
Portable was seen kneeling and weeping profusely as he apologised for his actions. The crowd around him chanted, “God is the king. Jesus is here”.
