After rejecting N10M bribe, Immigration officer gets car gift

Ugochukwu Orji, the Nigeria Immigration Service officer who made headlines for rejecting a N10 million bribe from the Enugu native doctor who was allegedly involved in buying pregnant women alive, has now received a car gift in recognition of his exceptional integrity.
In a new video circulating on social media, Orji is seen stepping into a brand-new vehicle, which he proudly drove off—an additional reward for his rare act of courage and patriotism.
Orji gained national attention after he arrested a popular native doctor from Enugu State at the Seme Border despite being offered a bribe of N10 million. His principled stance earned him widespread applause and several commendations.
Following the incident, he was awarded N5 million by a private philanthropist and an additional N1 million by a civil organization. State governors also extended their congratulations, and the Nigeria Immigration Service reportedly recommended him for a double promotion.
The car gift adds to the wave of appreciation flooding in from Nigerians who see Orji as a symbol of the kind of change the country desperately needs in its public service.
Many social media users have continued to celebrate his integrity, urging others in uniformed services to emulate his example.
