Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has responded to a wave of circulating videos online allegedly showing dissatisfied passengers, clarifying that the footage being shared is outdated and deliberately misleading.

In an official statement issued on Sunday, June 15, 2025, the airline revealed that the videos in question predate a major internal restructuring exercise it undertook on May 12, 2025, aimed at improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

“On May 12th, 2025, Air Peace undertook a strategic internal restructuring to enhance service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction,” the statement reads. “This tough but necessary step has already delivered results, with an impressive 85% on-time performance and renewed customer trust since then.”

The airline expressed concern over what it described as “deliberate and misleading efforts” by individuals and groups with questionable motives to discredit its brand by falsely presenting old incidents as recent events.

“In recent days, some blogs and social media outlets have circulated old videos of customer dissatisfaction, falsely presenting them as recent events,” the airline stated. “This is a deliberate and misleading effort to discredit the airline.”

Despite these attempts, Air Peace reiterated its commitment to excellence, integrity, and most importantly, the safety and satisfaction of its passengers.

“We urge the public to ignore these false videos and false narratives and trust that we continue working tirelessly to serve them better,” the management urged.

The airline concluded by appreciating its loyal customers for their continued support, promising to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and service as it continues to soar.
