Arsenal continue to shape their long-term project. The Gunners confirmed via an official statement on their social media that Myles Lewis-Skelly has committed to the club on a long-term deal by signing a new contract until june 2030.
The Premier League and England international sensation had a breakthrough 2024/25 season in which he established himself as the London side’s biggest gem, establishing himself as a regular starter under Mikel Arteta.
The left-back, who is sometimes used as a central midfielder, has made 39 first-team appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
The Hale End academy graduate, who made his debut in an away draw against Manchester City in September 2024, said in his first words after renewing his contract that he wants to leave a “legacy” at the club and win as many trophies as possible.
“I’ve embodied the values of Hale End and come through. I’ve still got a lot of years ahead of me, so if I can keep staying humble and being a good person, that’s the most important thing to me.
“I want a legacy. I want to win everything there is to win in the game. I want to win trophies on the biggest stages whilst being a person that’s always learning and stays grounded, which is so important,” he told the club’s official website.
