Kefas appoints 21 board members, parastatals

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has appointed 21 members of some Boards and Parastatals in the state.
In a statement by Timothy Kataps, the Secretary to State Government (SSG), the appointment include the appointment of 11 board members of Taraba State Investment Promotion Agency, six board members of Taraba Board of Internal Revenue and four special advisers.
Those appointed as special advisers are, Charles Maijankai, Special Adviser on Homeland Security Matters; Zanau Maikasuwa, Special Adviser on Agriculture & Food Security; Sunday Patrick, Special Adviser on Christian Religion Matters; and Hussaini Ismail, Special Adviser on Muslim Religious Matters.
According to the statement, Kabiru Jalo is to serve as the new chairman of the investment agency while Jeremiah Faransa is the chairman of the board of internal revenue.
The governor also approved the appointment of Benjamin Baissa as the new Permanent Secretary of the Bureau for Local Government, Traditions and Chieftaincy Affairs.
