After annual leave, Governor Radda resumes office in Kastina

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has officially resumed his duties on Monday, August 19, 2024, following a one-month annual vacation.
The Governor’s leave, which commenced on July 18, 2024, was in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which allows for such periodic breaks to ensure the well-being and effectiveness of elected officials.
In a letter addressed to the Katsina State House of Assembly, Governor Radda stated, “I hereby write to Honourable House of the end of my vacation and thereof wish to declare that I will return on the stated date of 18th August, 2024 to resume my constitutional functions as the Executive Governor, Katsina State.”
The Governor has expressed his gratitude to the people of Katsina State for their continued support and understanding during his absence. He has also commended the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruq Lawal Jobe and other members of the State Executive Council for their diligent management of state affairs while he was away.
“With renewed vigour and dedication to the welfare of all citizens, I am fully prepared to continue on the Building Your Future strategic plans,” Governor Radda said.
