Khamis Musa Darazo, a devoted supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from Bauchi State, is set to present a Sallah ram to the President in Lagos as a token of appreciation for approving the Kolmani Oil License.

Darazo while interacting with Journalists in Bauchi on Tuesday said that after consulting with his elders, he decided to take the ram to Tinubu’s home state, hoping to connect with the President or his aides before the Sallah celebration.

Khamis initially attempted to deliver the ram to the APC secretariat in Bauchi but was denied access. Now, he’s looking forward to presenting the ram in Lagos, symbolizing his appreciation for the President’s efforts in boosting the nation’s economy.

According to him,  “I had initially tried to send a Sallah ram to president Tinubu in appreciation of the approval of Kolmani Oil License through his party, APC but could not.

“However, after consulting with some elders, I have been advised to take the ram to the President’s home State, Lagos where he is expected to celebrate the Sallah. I just want to say thank you,” Khamis said.

The Kolmani Oil License, a multibillion-dollar oil exploration project located between Bauchi and Gombe states, is expected to drive economic growth and create job opportunities across Northern Nigeria.

Khamis believes this development will have a significant impact on the region’s economy and is eager to express his gratitude.

This isn’t the first time Khamis has demonstrated his loyalty and admiration for President Tinubu.

During the President’s campaign, Khamis sacrificed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) allowance to support the movement.

Additionally, he named his daughter after Tinubu’s late mother, showcasing his deep respect for the president and his family. END
