Breaking: Company MD, 3 foreign nationals abducted in Lagos

A group of armed individuals have hijacked a boat in Lagos.
They also kidnapped the occupants of the boat which include the Managing Director of Fouani Company, a leading representative for LG and Hisense, as well as three Lebanese citizens who were on board.
According to a report, the tragic incident happened on Friday.
The abduction occurred near Falomo Bridge, where the unidentified victims were intercepted while traveling by boat from Apapa to Victoria Island.
An insider, speaking anonymously due to the sensitivity of the case, disclosed that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom.
“The Managing Director of Fouani Company and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge on Friday evening while traveling by boat from Apapa to Victoria Island. The kidnappers have asked for $1.5 million,” the source disclosed.
Confirming the incident, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, stated, “Yes, it is true. We received the report and are investigating it. I cannot provide more details at this time.”
When pressed for further information, including the names of those abducted, Hundeyin maintained, “I am not obliged to disclose the names, or specifics of when, where, and how it happened at this moment, but we are looking into it.”
