Breaking: Organised Labour bows to pressure, suspends nationwide strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended the minimum wage nationwide strike.
Sources within the organized labour revealed on Tuesday afternoon that the strike has been suspended for five days to allow proper negotiation with the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage.
Recall that the Labour leaders had on Monday, June 3, 2024 embarked on a nationwide strike over minimum wage and increase in electricity tariff.
