Congress: APC disowns viral timetable

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has distanced itself from a purported timetable for nationwide congresses making rounds on social media, labeling it as fake.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC clarified that it has not released any schedule of activities for congresses.
“The said timetable/schedule of activities is fake and did not emanate from the Party. The Party has not issued any notice or timetable/schedule of activities for congresses as it has yet to make any decision in that regard,” the statement read.
Morka assured that any valid timetable or notice of congresses would be communicated through the APC’s official channels at the appropriate time.
He urged party members, officials, the media, and the general public to disregard the circulating timetable and await an official announcement from the party.
This clarification comes amid heightened political anticipation, as party stakeholders eagerly await details of APC’s next steps in organizing congresses across the country.
