Don’t respond to Wike, Primate Elijah advises Fubara

The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State not to respond to former Governor Nyesom Wike’s provocations.
In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele stated that Fubara has already triumphed over Wike and should focus on governance instead.
Ayodele’s counsel comes amid escalating tensions between Wike and his successor, which the cleric warned could lead to political violence if not addressed.
He urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene impartially in the conflict to prevent further escalation and ensure stability in Rivers State.
“President Tinubu should intervene in Rivers’ politics to prevent any escalation into political assassination and bloodshed.
“The president should act impartially to avert insurrection, which could have a significant impact on Nigeria as a whole,” Ayodele stated.
He criticized Wike’s actions, describing them as inappropriate for a mature politician, and reiterated that Fubara’s position is divinely protected.
Ayodele urged both parties to cease hostilities and avoid a situation that could spiral out of control.
Furthermore, Ayodele cautioned Governor Fubara to be vigilant of those around him, warning that his current allies could potentially be turned against him in the future.
“Fubara shouldn’t reply to Wike; he has already overcome him. He should focus on governance and be vigilant, as those aligning with him now may be used against him later,” Ayodele added.
