Drama as 2face mother cries out, begs Natasha to “free my son”

A video of Nigerian music legend 2Baba’s mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, pleading with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru to “free her son” has gone viral on social media, sparking intense reactions.
In the widely circulated clip, Mrs. Idibia, in an emotional appeal, called on Nigerian mothers to help beg Natasha to release her son, who is currently undergoing a divorce process with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
“Good evening, Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia. This message is for Miss Natasha of Edo State. I am calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son. My son is going through a divorce process. I know my son. Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his right hand and neck, remove them and free him,” she said.
Her statement has fueled speculations and debates, with some netizens interpreting her words as suggesting that Natasha has an undue influence over 2Baba. Others, however, believe the singer is fully aware of his decisions and should be left alone.
The viral video comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding 2Baba’s engagement to Natasha, which has drawn criticism from fans and public figures, including media personality Ossai Ovie Success, who warned that the singer risks imprisonment if he proceeds with the marriage before finalizing his divorce.
