FG warns against fake job recruitment publications

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has disowned a publication circulating on social media that claims to have shortlisted candidates for FCSC job recruitments.
In a statement signed by Taiwo Hassan, the Commission’s Honourable Chairman, the FCSC emphasized that the information in the publication is fictitious and should be disregarded.
According to the Commission, the publication sending spurious invites to candidates is not authentic, and they should be cautious of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers requesting payment.
The FCSC assured that it will never demand money from shortlisted candidates.
The Commission clarified that whenever they officially conclude the shortlist exercise, shortlisted candidates will be informed and publicly announced through various media platforms and on the Commission’s website (www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng).
This warning comes after the FCSC recruitment portal was used for applications that closed on March 10, 2025. Candidates are advised to verify information through official channels to avoid falling prey to scams.
