Hunger: Immigration places Nigerians sponsoring protest from abroad on watch list

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has revealed that the security agencies have gotten details of individuals who are instigating and promoting the ongoing nationwide protest tagged #EndBadGovernance.
The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nanna Nandap stated this on Tuesday during the joint press briefing by the Service Chiefs and other heads of security agencies over the protest across the country.
She added that the individuals have been identified and that whenever they make attempts to return to the country, authorities would act towards arresting them.
According to her, “We are aware of some people who are instigating people from abroad on this protest and we have them on our watchlist and any time they make attempts to step into the country, we will have them reported to the appropriate authorities for arrest.”
