Lagos: Igbo youths endorse Seyi Tinubu for 2027 gubernatorial election


Igbo youths in Lagos State have endorsed Seyi Tinubu for 2027 governorship election.
The youths under the umbrella of Lagos State Igbo Youth Organizations (LASIYO), said Seyi, who is the son of President Bola Tinubu is a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist with a proven track record of success in business and community development.
According to the group, Seyi is the preferred candidate for Lagos State governor in the 2027 elections.
In a statement signed by LASIYO’s president, Obioma Andrew, the youths said they are confident Seyi would drive a positive change in the state.
The statement said, “His initiatives in education and skills development have empowered over 1,000 youths, while his infrastructure development plans aim to improve the state’s transportation network and enhance economic growth by 20 per cent.
“Seyi Tinibu’s plans for education and skills development, infrastructure development, and healthcare and social services align with LASIYO’s goals and aspirations.
“Seyi Tinibu’s commitment to youth empowerment, economic development, and promoting unity and progress resonates deeply with LASIYO’s values. His leadership style, which emphasizes inclusivity, transparency, and accountability, is in line with LASIYO’s principles,” the statement said.
Also expressing their confidence in Seyi, the youths said they believe he has the leadership qualities and expertise necessary to address the challenges facing our community.
