Man arrested for stealing transformer cable
A 27-year old Abubakar Haruna, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for stealing transformer cables.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known via ‘X account on Saturday.
He wrote, ” Following a distress call, officers of Onikan Division have arrested one Abubakar Haruna, aged 27, after he jumped into a compound, and cut off cables from the transformer within the premises.
“He was arrested with a machete, two saws, and pliers. Investigation is ongoing.”
