Man United will win Premier League in 2028 – Amorim
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has expressed confidence that the club will secure the Premier League title by 2028.
The Red Devils last lifted the trophy in the 2012/13 season under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson and have endured a decade-long wait for another league triumph.
Currently, Amorim’s side sits 13th in the Premier League table after 24 matches, facing a challenging campaign. Their next test comes on Sunday in an away fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
When asked about United’s title ambitions by 2028, Amorim, speaking via Fabrizio Romano, reaffirmed his belief in the club’s long-term vision.
“Yes, we talk about that. Our focus is to win the Premier League, and we can change everything in a few years,” Amorim stated.
“At this moment, we are in a difficult position, but we need to work every day on the little steps.”
Amorim took charge at Old Trafford after departing Sporting CP last year.
