Nollywood actress slams Nigerians over ‘hypocrisy’

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has criticized Nigerians for their hypocrisy regarding the story of the missing women.
Celine and her Ghanaian friend, Afiba, were reported missing after traveling from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to Abia State on April 27, 2024, to meet Andrew Ochekwo, whom they had met on Facebook. Andrew was shot dead while trying to evade arrest last week.
A decomposing body was found near his house on Monday, but it has yet to be confirmed if it belongs to the missing women.
Reacting to the incident, Sarah condemned Nigerians for their hypocrisy, noting that while some people have found love through social media, they are now criticizing the missing women. She urged people to stop using the incident to bully the women, emphasizing that it could happen to anyone. Sarah shared that she has met good people on social media despite not being an extrovert and highlighted that gospel singer Moses Bliss also met his wife through social media.
