Real Madrid set to announce Ancelotti exit

Real Madrid are set to announce the departure of Carlo Ancelotti after Sunday’s ‘Clasico’ against Barcelona, reports Spanish outlet ‘Marca’. The Merengues will bid farewell to the Italian, who is destined to become Brazil manager.
After verbally agreeing on the terms of his exit, Real Madrid are set to officially announce Carlo Ancelotti’s departure after the ‘Clasico’ on Sunday in La Liga, reports Spanish outlet ‘Marca’.
The Italian manager, who will not lead Los Blancos during the Club World Cup in the summer, will finally be able to formalise his deal with Brazil after negotiations were abruptly stalled.
The 65-year-old will take over from Dorival Junior at the ‘Canarinha’ after he was dismissed in March, leading them from as early as the South American World Cup qualifiers in June.
As for Real Madrid, Santiago Solari is set to take the reins on an interim basis during the Club World Cup, with Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso ready to succeed from next season onward.
