FG cancels one-year anniversary of Tinubu’s govt

President Bola Tinubu has cancelled all ceremonies earlier planned to mark his first year in office.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, at a press conference in Abuja, said the administration has opted to maintain a low key in marking the anniversary.
Akume did not elaborate as he reeled out the achievements of the administration in the last one year.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the government opted to allow ministers to present their achievements in office rather than roll out the carpet for any ceremony.
