Verydarkman breaks silence on Davido, Cubana Chief Priest’s visit to Tinubu

Controversial social commentator and activist, Verydarkman, has finally reacted to the recent viral meeting between Nigerian music star Davido, nightlife mogul Cubana Chief Priest, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The duo created widespread debate on social media after photos and videos emerged showing them visiting the president at the Aso Rock Villa, prompting mixed reactions and calls for accountability from some quarters, including from Verydarkman’s followers.

Responding via his social media page, Verydarkman clarified that he has no problem with anyone choosing to support or vote for any political figure. However, he stressed that celebrities should not use their platforms to manipulate public opinion or influence voters ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In his words:

“If you want to support Tinubu come 2027, that is your business. If you want to support any party, that’s your business. So if you dey talk say make I set camera because of Chief Priest and Davido, I ain’t got that time. But where me and them go get problem na when 2027 make them campaign for anybody. They no get that right. Na there we go get problem be that.”
