Popular social media influencer VeryDarkMan has publicly debunked allegations of theft involving ₦180 million from his NGO account by releasing a comprehensive 2,000-page bank statement.
The document, which he shared in a video posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page, revealed that the account currently holds a balance of ₦240 million, with the only deduction being a ₦39,000 transfer levy charged by the federal government.

The move comes after an initial claim by VeryDarkMan that hackers had stolen ₦180 million from the NGO’s account following a website breach. However, days later, he dismissed the claim as false in another video, describing it as a misunderstanding.
To set the record straight, the influencer visited the bank and obtained a detailed statement, which he used to verify that the funds were intact.
“Nothing was stolen. The only transaction recorded was the government’s ₦39,000 levy,” he emphasized, while addressing the controversy directly in his video.
The video quickly gained traction online, with netizens reacting to the turn of events. Many praised his transparency, while others expressed skepticism about his initial allegations.
