The woman who was recently exposed for giving a false testimony at Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry has spoken out, revealing why she made the claim.

Recall that the church member had testified about acquiring a mansion worth ₦500 million, only for investigations to reveal that the property did not belong to her. Following the controversy, Evangelist Obi confirmed that she had been arrested for fabricating the testimony.

Addressing the situation, the woman explained that she declared ownership of the mansion “by faith,” believing that her proclamation would eventually become reality. However, when asked further questions about the house, she reportedly gave evasive responses, raising more doubts about her story.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some criticizing her for misleading the congregation, while others argue that she was simply demonstrating faith in God’s blessings.

Read some netizens’ reactions below;

@Karigwe: “I thought the pastor lied that she has been arrested? ”

@dotenadot: “Instead of @PoliceNG to go and arrest the so-called pastor for defrauding the public, they’re acting blind. No problem as long as he pays taxes to
@CCSoludo led govt.”

@ThePoet_Says: “People are not asking real questions here…
That video was not shown to the public from the girl’s phone. So, who put the video of that house on the church broadcast?
If the church is not aware of this entire thing, who shot the video and mixed it so smoothly on the broadcast?”

@Moralist6788: “She’s practicing faith! Ebuka Obi should kindly free that girl!
What is truly FAITH without her action?”

@Magik_jay_ : “Make one Igbo man just buy am for am”

@powerchibueze: “lol…..make una leave the innocent lady alone nah……she dey practice faith nah”
