Yobe ‘ll support you to succeed, Buni assures new sector commander

Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has assured the Sector Commander of Sector 2 North-east Joint Taskforce Operation Hadin Kai, Brig. Gen. MCE Ejike, the cooperation of Yobe state government and the people of the state.
He stated this Monday when he received in audience, the new sector commander.
“We are collectively in the fight against insecurity together, l want to assure you the cooperation of the state government, traditional, community, and opinion leaders, and the entire people of the state.
He expressed satisfaction with the working synergy among security agencies in the state, hoping that the new commander would contribute to the improved security across the state.
The governor commended the new commander for taking some daring steps to keep the military on the offensive against possible threats.
“This administration will continue to support all the security agencies and especially the military in the task of maintaining sustainable peace and security in the state” Gov. Buni said.
The new Commander said he was in the governor’s office to interface with him as the chief security officer of the state.
He said his officers and men are prepared for all challenges that pose a threat to peace and security in the state.
“I am not a stranger in Yobe state, l know the terrain quite well because l have served here previously in various capacities, and this has efficiently prepared me for the assignment,” he assured.
He urged the government and the communities to support the military to execute its mandate with success.
