2025 Grammy: Tems shines as Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy lose out [Full List]

The 67th Grammy Awards held on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles was a night of celebration, surprises, and major wins.
While Nigerian music heavyweights Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake, and Yemi Alade were nominated for the prestigious Best African Music Performance category, it was Tems who stole the spotlight, securing her second Grammy win with her hit song Love Me JeJe.
Despite high expectations, Burna Boy’s Higher, Wizkid and Asake’s MMS, Chris Brown’s Sensational featuring Davido and Lojay, and Yemi Alade’s Tomorrow all fell short in the category. Tems’ victory further solidifies her status as a powerhouse in the global music industry.
