Gov Radda to receive international sports excellence award in Paris

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda will be honoured with the Award of Excellence for Sports Development by OJB Media Network at a prestigious ceremony in Loudiane Belle, Paris, France, on October 21, 2024.
The award recognizes Governor Radda’s substantial investments and contributions to sports development in Katsina State.
OJB Media Network, a leading Paris-based sports media and marketing organization, selected Governor Radda for this honour based on his exceptional commitment to advancing sports infrastructure and programmes in the state.
“Governor Radda’s passionate dedication to sports development and significant investments in Katsina’s sporting ecosystem make him a deserving recipient of this recognition,” stated Ojora Babatunde, CEO of OJB Media Network.
The award ceremony, supported by the Nigerian Embassy in Paris, is designed to celebrate outstanding Nigerian and African athletes and sports administrators making significant impacts across and beyond France.
Governor Radda is being represented by a high-powered delegation led by Hon. Lawal Aliyu Zakari, State Commissioner for Youth and Sports; Hon. Sani Mustapha Bello, Chairman, House Committee on Sports, Katsina State House of Assembly and Ahmed Mohammed, Chairman, Katsina Football Academy and CEO of You Vs You.
This international recognition adds to Governor Radda’s growing prominence in sports development and the state’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent and infrastructure.
