Breaking: Supreme Court announces judgment day on LG autonomy

The Federal Government’s lawsuit against the 36 Governors, seeking complete autonomy for the country’s 774 local governments, will receive a judgment from the Supreme Court tomorrow.
A court document, seen on Wednesday at the Supreme Court, shows that all parties involved in the lawsuit have received notification of the upcoming judgment through their legal representatives.
The notification of the impending judgment was formally served on the Federal Government, specifically on the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, located at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Abuja.
