Presidency dismisses viral Tinubu video, describes as old footage

A viral video of President Bola Tinubu that surfaced on Wednesday has been confirmed as an old footage from a previous broadcast.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, debunked speculation about a new address by President Tinubu.
Onanuga stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the trending video is actually a snippet from a broadcast made last year.

Thediscovererng.com reports that this clarification comes after President Tinubu’s last public address on Sunday, in which he appealed for calm and patience amidst ongoing protests.
Onanuga’s statement puts to rest speculation about a new development or update from the President, confirming that there has been no fresh statement since Sunday’s broadcast.
