Tragedy as ex-reps member dies at 60

Wole Duro Diya, a former House of Representatives member, has passed away.
He died at the age of 60 on Friday.
Diya, brother of late Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Diya, served two terms representing Somolu Federal Constituency and Lagos State House of Assembly’s Somolu Constituency I.
His death comes just days before his 61st birthday, August 20, 2024.
Sources close to the family revealed Diya battled heart disease for years, leading to his untimely demise.
Colleagues and friends pay tribute to Diya’s dedication to public service, leaving a lasting legacy.
