Bobrisky reacts to Femi Falana’s legal threats

Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has vehemently denied accusations of defamation against prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, and his son, rapper Falz.
This follows a recent demand by the Falanas for a public retraction and apology over an alleged defamatory audio recording circulating online.
The audio in question reportedly features Bobrisky claiming to have paid N10 million to Femi Falana in order to secure a presidential pardon for his conviction earlier this year. However, Bobrisky has distanced himself from the claims, asserting that the voice in the recording is not his.
“I, Okuneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for a pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them,” he stated, categorically rejecting the allegations.
This response comes after Falana’s legal team issued a 12-hour ultimatum through a cease-and-desist letter, demanding an apology or face legal action. The letter, signed by lawyers from Falana and Falana’s Chambers, warned that failure to comply would result in a lawsuit.
Bobrisky has since taken to Instagram to clarify his position, insisting that he did not publish or make any defamatory statements. He further urged the Falanas to direct their legal actions towards the individual responsible for circulating the audio, stating, “The person that published an audio online should take full responsibility for what he posted in public.”
Standing by his denial, Bobrisky maintains that he has no involvement in the alleged defamatory remarks and is prepared to defend himself against the claims.
