Iwobi scores against ex-club as Maja, Ajayi feature in West Brom’s stalemate

Some Super Eagles players in England had a notable Saturday afternoon, with Alex Iwobi shining in the Premier League clash against his former club, Everton.
Iwobi netted his second league goal of the season, helping Fulham to secure a 1-1 draw after Everton’s late equalizer. The forward was influential throughout the game, completing three dribbles and creating two key chances.
His compatriot, Calvin Bassey, also featured in the match, delivering a solid defensive performance with two duels won and one tackle across the full 90 minutes.
In the Championship, Nigerian duo Josh Maja and Semi Ajayi represented West Bromwich Albion as they battled Cardiff City to a goalless draw.
Maja and Ajayi both played key roles, with Ajayi anchoring the defense and Maja leading the line in attack.
