VIDEO: How Bobrisky was arrested

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was detained Thursday night while attempting to travel to London via Amsterdam.
The incident unfolded at the Lagos airport, where Bobrisky was reportedly removed from a KLM flight by airport security, creating a chaotic scene that drew attention from onlookers.
Eyewitnesses described the situation as tense, with some questioning the reasons for the arrest and observing what appeared to be a “forced” removal. Later, Bobrisky took to Instagram, sharing photos of bruises he claimed were sustained during the arrest.

Thediscovererng.com reports that the arrest may have been triggered by a social media post from Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose. Fayose posted a selfie with Bobrisky at the airport, which reportedly alerted security agents to Bobrisky’s movements. Soon after, officials tracked him to the aircraft and escorted him off.

This is not Bobrisky’s first encounter with law enforcement in recent weeks. The crossdresser was detained at the Seme border not long ago while allegedly trying to leave Nigeria without clearance. It remains unclear when his passport was returned, allowing him to attempt this recent international trip.
Additionally, Bobrisky has yet to honor an invitation from the House of Representatives Committee investigating bribery allegations he allegedly made against ther Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). These claims, which were widely shared by social media influencer VeryDarkMan, have placed Bobrisky under heightened scrutiny as the investigation unfolds.
